If you are looking for therapy because you are struggling, please know that help is available. While I cannot provide immediate emergency support there are helplines listed below staffed by people who want to listen.

  • NHS Urgent Mental Health Support: Call 111 and select option 2. This will connect you directly to a local mental health professional 24/7.

  • Samaritans: Call 116 123 (any time, from any phone) for a safe place to talk.

  • Shout Crisis Text Line: Text SHOUT to 85258 if you prefer to communicate via text.

  • Papyrus (Under 35s): If you are experiencing thoughts of suicide, call 0800 068 4141 or text 07860 039967.

  • CALM Campaign Against Living Miserably: 0800585858 Our helpline is open 5pm - midnight every day.

Urgent support and crisis: If you or someone else is in immediate physical danger, has harmed themselves, or taken an overdose please call 999 or go to your nearest A&E dept immediately.

Mental health emergencies should be treated with the same urgency as physical ones. You are not wasting anyone’s time.
